SLB User Guide

Header, footer and Theme Settings

Some parts of your site appear on every page. SLB calls them global regions. Edit one and the change applies everywhere.

The regions

RegionWhat it controls
HeaderLogo, navigation and header buttons (starter section: Main Header).
FooterFooter columns and links (Site Footer or Site Footer (Minimal)).
AnnouncementA thin bar above the header (Announcement Bar).
WhatsApp buttonA floating chat button (WhatsApp Button).
Theme SettingsBrand colours, fonts and shop display options.
Product SettingsProduct card, product page and cart drawer wording.

On WooCommerce sites there are also regions for the shop archive and the product page. See WooCommerce pages.

Edit a region

  1. Open the SLB editor and click the Global Settings tab.
  2. Under Global Regions, click Edit <Region> →, for example Edit Header →.
  3. Change the fields (logo, links, text).
  4. Click Save Region, then Publish Changes.

Global sections allow only one copy. To hide one on certain pages, use Hide this section on these pages inside it, or set Header or Footer to Hidden in that page's Page Settings.

Colours and fonts: Theme Settings

Open Edit Theme Settings →. Its groups are:

Brand colours

Primary, secondary, tertiary (accent), surface, on-surface and accent. Sections use these automatically, so changing the primary colour recolours buttons across the site.

Colour scheme overrides

Sections can sit on a named background scheme: white, light, dark, primary or ink. Here you can adjust what each scheme looks like, or define a custom one.

Typography

An older "font pairing" drop-down may appear. It no longer has any effect, so use the fields above.

Commerce

Free-shipping threshold, shop columns (2, 3 or 4), products per page and whether to show the shop sidebar.

Tip. Set colours and fonts first, before building pages. Everything after that matches without extra work.

Product Settings

Wording and options for the product card (the tile in a grid), the single product page and the cart drawer (labels such as button text). Only matters for shops.

The header gets its links as blocks inside the Header region. Add a block per link. If you work with Claude, it can also set up WordPress menus (see Every MCP tool explained). Remember that when Claude works on a draft theme, the draft has its own header region: set the links there too.
